A Love Note From the Couple

We know that everyone who attends our wedding will be traveling to be with us. We appreciate you so much and cannot wait to celebrate our next adventure with everyone we love. Ty is the greatest brother a girl could ask for. He's also been said to have had the "best wedding ever" so we had to have him on board for this. Breaking tradition a bit, but I wanted him on my side of the aisle!

Hannah and I started off playing spit during recess, spent over a decade playing soccer together, and have gone on some awesome adventures. She brought us camping at the lake where we're getting married!

Alyssa and I have been friends for almost 30 years! We met in kindergarten and have stayed close all throughout school, college, moves, and growing families. So lucky to have her in my life.

From sharing a bedroom with Erick, charging him to play together, visiting us in Potsdam, and cruising to Alaska (pictured!), Ethan has been there for every part of our story. I can always count on him for an ice cream run or late night pizza order - he's truly the BEST.

The dress code is cocktail attire for the wedding and reception. We're excited to get dressed up and celebrate with you! That said don't feel too much pressure about what you wear, we'll be excited to celebrate with you in whatever you feel best in.

REDMOND AIRPORT

The Redmond Airport (RDM) is 20 minutes from the Riverhouse Lodge (hotel and reception location) in Bend, OR. Renting a car will give you the most access to all that Bend has to offer. You can also get a ride share to the hotel or book their $35 shuttle.

The Riverhouse Lodge is where we will be staying and where the reception will take place. It has an onsite restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, gym, sauna, and steam room. There is access to walking trails by the river and a golf course right around the corner that offers discounts to Riverhouse guests. Riverhouse is a few minutes drive from downtown Bend. The hotel offers complimentary shuttles to and from downtown that can be scheduled. Travel

Downtown Bend is filled with shops and restaurants. It's a great place to walk around and explore. We love grabbing a beer on the river at Bend Brewing Company and walking through Drake Park.

There are so many great hikes near Bend! Smith Rock State Park (pictured) is 20 minutes from the hotel and the Sisters Wilderness is a 45 minute drive. Erick and I also love walking along the riverfront. Check out Drake or McKay park for paved riverfront walks.

Erick and I got to go to two concerts at Hayden Homes Amphitheater last year and it is officially one of my favorite venues. It's right on the water so you'll see people in kayaks and paddle boards catching a free show.

Bend is known for its adventures! Try your hand at river surfing, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing and more.

There are so many beautiful things to see in Central Oregon. Gorgeous hot springs, crystal clear lakes, the adorable town of Sisters, the volcanic monument, and Crater Lake National Park are all within a few hours of Bend.
